For the use of public transport on routes of city and regional interest and the use of personal transport, the following shall be entitled:
1) the educatees of educational institutions of general education and vocational orientation of the local government, who undertake a general education or vocational orientation education programme, regarding the period of the training year specified by the Cabinet;
2) students who undertake a pre-school education programme throughout the year, except for the period when the educational institution is closed.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    In order to receive compensation for public transport expenses, the legal representative of the educatee or an adult educatee shall submit a submission to the parish administration or the Kandahar parish association by the 10 th day of each following month (see page “Veidlapa_1”) by adding travel tickets glued to the page in chronological order (ticket entries are clearly legible) for public transport used in the preceding month.

    In order to receive compensation for personal transport expenses for the transfer of an educatee to the nearest local government educational institution to students who have commenced mandatory training for the acquisition of basic education (5-6 years) and the general education and/or vocational orientation educational institution for students, the legal representative of the educatee shall submit a submission to the parish administration (see page “Veidlapa_2”), specifying the child's name, surname, personal code, destination, route, account number.

    In order to receive compensation for personal transport expenses for the delivery of the educatee to the nearest local government pre-school educational institution for the educatees from one and a half to three years old, the legal representative of the educatee shall submit a submission to the Tuma county Education Board (see page “Veidlapa_3”), specifying the child's given name, surname, personal identity number, educational institution, route, account number.

    If the local government has entered into a contract with the carrier regarding compensation of expenses on regional routes of local interest, the educational institution shall draw up a list of students by the beginning of the training year and submit to the parish administration at the place of the educatee's place of residence or educational institution, if the educatee's place of residence is in the city of Tuma. The parish authority shall submit the list to the carrier, which shall prepare the subscription tickets and submit them to the parish administration. The subscription ticket gives the educatee the right to use the public transport of the relevant route during the training period.

  2. Service Processing
    Compensation for public transport costs.
    1. Upon receipt of the submission, the parish administration shall examine the conformity of the tickets with the actual visit of the educational institution to the educatee.
    2. The general and vocational orientation educational institutions shall submit electronically to the parish administration a summary of the actual educational institution visit of the educatee living in the territory thereof, indicating the given name, surname, educational institution, class, monthly calendar attendance schedule, total and actual number of days visited.

    Compensation for personal transport costs.
    1. By the 5 th day of the following month, the educational institution shall submit a report to the parish administration regarding the visit of the educatee.
    2. A report regarding the educatees from one and a half to three years of age shall be submitted to the Education Board of the Tuma county.

  3. Receipt of services
    Compensation for driving and transport costs shall be paid once a month from the 15 th to 20 th dates. The payment of compensation shall be provided by the Municipal Finance Department.
