Process description

  1. Request Service and Required Documents
    It is possible to receive out-of-family care in a long-term social care and social rehabilitation institution if:
    1) the parents of the child have died;
    2) the rights of custody of the child have been suspended or deprived of the parents;
    3) the parents have requested the child to provide out-of-family care due to their state of health;
    4) it is not possible to provide out-of-family care in a foster family or a guardian.

    Out-of-family care in a long-term social care and social rehabilitation institution shall be terminated if:
    1) the parents of the child have renewed custody rights;
    2) custody has been established for the child;
    3) the child is transferred to a foster family;
    4) a court judgment regarding the approval of the adoption of a child has entered into lawful effect.

  2. Service Processing
    The Orphan's Court shall, on its own initiative, request and summarize the documents necessary in the case (in which information regarding the parents of the child has been provided, information regarding the opinion of the closest relatives regarding the possibilities to undertake the parenting of the child, information regarding the possibility of placing the child in a foster family or a guardian, the opinion of the child regarding the possible type of out-family care, the submission of parents regarding in the institution regarding the placement of the placement. because of the situation).

  3. Receipt of services

    Parents who have been suspended or deprived of custody rights may be charged for the provision of out-of-family care services in a long-term social care and social rehabilitation institution.

    The head of the institution (guardian of the inserted child) shall submit a settlement regarding the management of the property to the Orphan's Court by 1 February each year, as well as at the end of the guardianship.
